Please note: We do not work on aggressive cats as we do not sedate cats!
Please note: We can not work on badly matted cats! Please do not book if your cat is badly matted!
Your $70 deposit fee/cat will be forfeited!
$20 cancellation fee/ cat applies if you cancel your appointment (please note we took time to book you in, we sent messages to your mobile phone number, also we took time to cancel your appointment).
However, if you cancel/ reschedule your appointment in 48 hours of your appointment, the full $70 deposit fee will be forfeited! The $70 deposit is non refundable because we have business running costs to cover for the time blocked off your appointment. Business running cost is for example: wages of staff, superannuation of staff, electricity cost such as heating, cooling and using lights in the salon. Those are the reasons we will keep the $70 deposit.
RESCHEDULING/CANCELLING & LATENESS:
Please arrive 5 minutes prior your appointment, so we can welcome you properly, also you can fill up our check in form.
If you have to cancel/ reschedule your appointment in 2 days prior your appointment, deposit fee can not be refunded.
Please note, Groomzy is not open on Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays. Please leave us a text message on 0448113933 to us as soon as possible to avoid uncomfortable situations.
We are open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays till 3 pm. Please leave us a text message till 1 pm. On Fridays, we are open till 5 pm, please leave us a text message till 3 pm. So we will have enough time to fill up your empty spot.
For example: Your appointment is on Tuesday at 11 am. For any reason, you can not attend your appointment, therefore you want to change it or cancel it.
As Groomzy closed from 3 pm Saturday till Tuesday 9 am, please inform us till Saturday 1 pm. So we do not charge a $70 cancellation fee! We recommend you to put your appointment into your calendar, therefore you do not double book your appointment!
In case you were taken to hospital or your cat is sick or died, please send us your GP/hospital doctor/vet letter and we will wave your cancellation fee. If you can not provide this letter, unfortunately we are unable to wave the penalty.
It is your responsibility to do not double book your appointments, also to arrive on time. This includes for reasons out of your control such as commitments with work, social events, transport children, traffic/accident on roads etc.
Please note that arriving late for an appointment could mean that we are unable to provide the full service you are booked in for as there is an allocated time for each service. Please be respectful of our time as we are a by-appointment business, and another client could have taken your appointment.
If you are more then 10 mins late, we may have to cancel your appointment and a $70 cancellation fee will apply.
PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH GROOMZY:
If you bring your cat with ANY of below issues your appointment will be cancelled by us and your $70 deposit fee will be forfeited. We take safety first and seriously! The $70 deposit is non refundable because we have business running costs to cover for the time blocked off your appointment. The most common issue is parasites! We can not allow fleas to infest our salon. If you bring your cat with fleas, we will strictly do not allow your cat to stay. Please respect our policy and give flea treatment 3 days prior your appointment! If you are not happy with our Terms and Conditions, please do not book to ignore upsettings.

Have you taken your cat to a vet clinic in 7 days prior your cat grooming appointment? We recommend to reschedule your appointment with Groomzy. It is often a traumatic/ stressful event to cats. Therefore they can be very scared or defensive. Please give time it's little soul to calm down. Please reschedule your appointment if it happened!
Have you taken your cat to a boarding facility? Please also give a week or even two weeks of love and lots of hug at home before you take her/him to us. Thank you!
TIP: Please book your appointment before you go on a holiday, therefore your cat sitter or staff of cat boarding facility do not have pressure on keeping fur non matted.
We take $70 deposit fee per cat. If you have 2 cats we take $140 deposit fee etc...
Please pay your deposit fee until the requested deadline through a secured portal link, sent by text message or it may be offered to another client.
MATTED CAT POLICY:
We are no longer accept cats with significant matting or pelting. Removing mats can be painful for your cat and puts your groomer at a far greater risk of injury. Not to mention it can be 3-5 hours by a cat groomer, so we do not offer this service. Also, often skin is inflamed under matted fur which needs to be properly treated by vet clinic. If your cat attends an appointment and is deemed to be badly matted or pelted, service will be refused and the $70 deposit fee will be forfeited. We recommend all bad mat removal be performed by your vet under sedation. Our mission statement is to create happy and healthy relationships between cats and their people through regular preventative skin and coat maintenance. A clean cat is a happy cat.
Please note, the minimum waiting time for your cat to be groomed after desexing. Please confirm with your vet that the cat is fine to be groomed after desexing. These are recommendations only and must be confirmed with your vet.
We are unable to groom cats that have given birth within the last 3 months.
Females: Minimum 3 weeks
Males: Minimum 2 weeks
AGGRESSIVE CATS: We are cat groomers, we do not sedate cats. Therefore, we are only able to work on cats who are friendly and let us to handle them! Please book your aggressive cat with a vet clinic for an anaesthetic shave down. If you bring an aggressive cat to us and we are not able to work on your cat, the $70 deposit fee will be forfeited.
Please take your cat to us only if your cat is completely healthy, also there are no parasites inside it's fur nor it's body. Furthermore, your cat is friendly and can tolerate a two hours handling. You will have to drop your cat off and pick up. If you want to stay and watch, Groomzy is not your cat groomer salon. If you bang on our walls/windows, shouting inside the salon while we are working on cats, service will be refused immediately and the entire booking fee plus the entire service fee will be forfeited!
