Cancellation & Reschedule Policy

Please note that arriving late for an appointment could mean that we are unable to provide the full service you are booked in for as there is an allocated time for each service. Please be respectful of our time as we are a by-appointment business, and another client could have taken your appointment.

We send a friendly reminder to your phone number via our booking system 2 days before your appointment at 10 am. It is an automatic text message. Please reply in few hours so we will know if you are coming or we can book another kitty instead of you and avoid sitting in the salon and waiting for a no-show. You will have to reply Y to confirm or N to cancel your appointment. 

No Show: It means we are sitting in the salon and waiting for you to arrive while calls from us go unanswered. Customers who did no show on us will be put on a "black list" and we will not take your booking again as you did not respect our time and did not reply our calls. Groomzy is a one client per appointment salon. Cat grooming services can be from 20 minutes to 2 hours depending on the service and no-shows have a real impact on our business.  

To avoid anyone being upset, please call us to cancel or reschedule your appointment asap. Emergencies can happen, everybody can be sick including you, your kitty or your family members.

We will understand your situation and we reschedule or cancel your appointment.

Reschedule your appointment: Yes, we can reschedule your appointment. We understand situations arise where you need to reschedule and we can accommodate your request within reason, but not on a continuous basis.  

We send you a friendly reminder to your phone number via our booking system 2 days before your appointment at 10 am. Please try to reschedule or cancel your appointment at that time so another client can take your appointment. We are working by appointments, we are a small business, please support us by informing us in a timely manner and we can use that time to book in another client who may be on our waiting list.

Cancelation Fees and Charges: Due to lots of last minute cancellations and late arrivals when we are not able to complete the service, we decided to ask cancellation fee for your missed appointments. Cancelling your appointment in 24 hours or late arrivals when we can not complete the service, a 50 % of cancellation fee will be applied to your missed appointment.  If you are booked in for less than a $100 service, a $50 cancellation fee will be applied (except sanitary clip, belly clip and nail clipping).
