YOU ARE WELCOME TO BOOK WITH GROOMZY IF YOUR CAT:
HEALTHY (Cat groomers are beauty therapist for cats, they are not vets to work on non-healthy cats)
FRIENDLY (Cat groomers are beauty therapist for cats, they do not sedate animals. Cats are awake, they can move freely. Groomzy staff has to handle cats for about 2 hours. Cats have to be friendly; they can not attack staff members. Cat grooming is hard and easy to get injured. We will not risk going into hospital. Please do not bring your cat to us if there is a change your cat will attack us.)

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH GROOMZY IF ANY OF CONDITIONS BELOW OCCURS:
The most common issue is parasites! We can not allow fleas to infest our salon. We would like to send home every cat without fleas who attended Groomzy for service. If you bring your cat with fleas, there is a chance that cats after you will be infested with fleas. That is what we do not support, we can not allow to happen. Therefore, if you bring your cat with fleas, we will strictly do not allow your cat to stay. We will refuse to work on your cat immediately! Please respect our policy and give flea treatment 3 days prior your appointment! If you are not happy with our Terms and Conditions, please do not book to ignore upsetting.

We take $70 deposit fee per cat. If you have 2 cats we take $140 deposit fee etc...
We recommend you put your appointment into your calendar, therefore you do not forget/ double book your appointment with someone else! We are important, our time is important!
Please pay your deposit fee until the requested deadline through a secured portal link, sent by text message or it may be offered to another client.
RESCHEDULING/CANCELLING & LATENESS:
If you have to cancel/ reschedule your appointment in 2 days prior your appointment, deposit fee can not be refunded as it will turn to a cancellation fee.
Please note, Groomzy is not open on Sundays, Mondays nor on Thursdays.
If you have a Tuesday appointment, please cancel/change your appointment till 1 pm on Saturday.
Why we can not give you back your paid $70/cat deposit if you cancel your spot in 2 days prior your appointment?
Groomzy is a "by appointment business". We dedicate our time to work on your cat in your booked allocated time.
The $70 deposit is non-refundable because we have business running costs to cover for the time blocked off your appointment. Business running cost is for example: wages of staff, superannuation of staff, electricity cost such as heating, cooling and using lights in the salon. Those are the reasons we will keep the $70/ cat deposit.
Please allow us to work on your cat for 2 hours allocated time!
We recommend you put your appointment into your calendar, therefore you do not double book your appointment!
In case you were taken to hospital, or your cat is sick or died, please send us your GP/hospital doctor/vet letter and we will wave your cancellation fee. If you can not provide this letter, unfortunately we are unable to wave the penalty.
It is your responsibility to do not double book your appointments, also to arrive on time. This includes for reasons out of your control such as commitments with work, social events, transport children, traffic/accident on roads etc.
Have you taken your cat to a vet clinic in 7 days prior your cat grooming appointment? We recommend rescheduling your appointment with Groomzy. It is often a traumatic/ stressful event to cats. Therefore, they can be very scared or defensive. Please give time it's little soul to calm down. Please reschedule your appointment if it happened!
Have you taken your cat to a boarding facility? Please also give a week or even two weeks of love and lots of hug at home before you take her/him to us. Thank you!
TIP: Please book your appointment before you go on a holiday, therefore your cat sitter or staff of cat boarding facility do not have pressure on keeping fur non matted.
MATTED CAT POLICY:
We are no longer accept cats with significant matting or pelting.
Matts can be very difficult to remove and may require the cat to be shaved. When necessary, removing a heavily matted coat includes risks of nicks, cuts or abrasions due to warts, moles, or skin folds trapped in the mats. Heavy matting can also trap moisture and urine near the cat's skin allowing mould, fungus or bacteria to grow, causing skin irritations that existed prior to the grooming process. After effects of mat removal procedure can include itchiness, skin redness, self-inflicted irritation or abrasions and failure of the hair to regrow. In some cases cats may also exhibit brief behavioural changes. Removing mats can be painful for your cat and puts your groomer at a far greater risk of injury. We recommend all bad mat removal be performed by your vet under sedation. Our mission statement is to create happy and healthy relationships between cats and their people through regular preventative skin and coat maintenance. A clean cat is a happy cat.
Please note, the minimum waiting time for your cat to be groomed after desexing. Please confirm with your vet that the cat is fine to be groomed after desexing. These are recommendations only and must be confirmed with your vet.
Females: Minimum 3 weeks
Males: Minimum 2 weeks
Furthermore, we are unable to groom/trim/work on cats that have given birth within the last 3 months.
AGGRESSIVE CATS: We are cat groomers; we do not sedate cats. Therefore, we are only able to work on cats who are friendly and let us to handle them! Please book your aggressive cat with a vet clinic for an anaesthetic shave down. If you bring an aggressive cat to us and we are not able to work on your cat, the $70 deposit fee will be forfeited.
Please take your cat to us only if your cat is completely healthy, also there are no parasites inside its fur nor it's body. Furthermore, your cat is friendly and can tolerate a two-hour handling. You will have to drop your cat off and pick up.
