Payment
Groomzy offers services by appointments only. We dedicate an allocated time to your cat. A groomer and a room are booked for that allocated time to your cat only. It is a mandatory fee, upfront payment. This cost is non-refundable according to policies, see on website such as sick cats, cats with fleas, aggressive cats, panting cats, no shows, late arrivals.
Mat & Pelt
To avoid extra cost, be on a regular schedule. Mat removal, pelt removal, are time consuming. Please see prices below in the price list for further information.
A simple non matted cat trim is $120.
With a messy belly it takes double time, and the cost is $240; with messy fur all over the body takes 3 times more and price is $360. ​
Health
We kindly ask that you bring only healthy cats, also free from parasites, ensuring that every pet can go home safely and happily. This helps us maintain a healthy environment for all our furry friends. Please respect this rule to avoid losing the money you paid upfront.
We will refuse to intake into the grooming room every sick cat, every cat with parasites.
Safe arrival
Every cat must arrive in a secured cage or carrier. Cats with higher stress level can attack other cats in the same carrier after grooming, even if they are best friends for life, family members such as brothers, sisters. To avoid problems, please bring every single one of them in separate carriers.
Some cats need space away other furry friends for hours or days after service.
Gold Package
​Mandatory nail cut, ear and eye cleaning.
Shortening the fur down to 10-13 mm all over the body. This is the length remaining on the body. Tail is optional for you. Shave fur around the bum and inside back legs.
Common name is teddy bear clip.
This package does not include bath.

You request this package if the fur is nice and smooth, a coarse comb can pull through the coat easily until the skin, like a knife in a butter.

Price: $50 is the cost of the service. $70 paying by the time of booking to reserve the room for the allocated extended time, 25 mins. All: $120

What happens IF you did not know that your cat fur is matted, compacted, cotton like thick, tangled, pelted and you booked a gold package.

Here is what will happen:
The groomer will work on your cat for 25 mins allocated time, for the cost of $120 what you will have to pay to Groomzy before we give your cat back to you.
As the groomer in this package does not have time to work on a messy fur, your cat will be given back to you unfinished.

What your options are?
You will be recommended to book another package. Thus we can finish your cat. Most likely it will be another day, as in our salon cats are often back-to-back and we work by appointments only.
To saving you money, we recommend you choose the right service in the first place! We have no responsibility for your wrong decisions, nor for naughty people's cheeky decisions to try to save money on mat removals.
​Messy Belly Package
Mandatory nail cut, ear and eye cleaning.
Shortening the fur down to 10-13 mm on the top part of the body. Shave fur around the bum, belly, inside back legs. Also shave armpits and chest if matted
Common name is teddy bear clip with a belly shave.
This package does not include bath.

Price: $100 is the cost of the service. $140 paying by the time of booking to reserve the room for the allocated extended time, 50 mins. All: $240

Attention please! Read this carefully!​
If your cat matted on other parts such as back, side of the cat body, outside legs, then your cat has to be shaved fully all over the body. We do not have time to finish your cat in this Messy Belly Package. You have to book a HOT MESS PACKAGE.
Often people claim they do not know their cat was matted on the top part too. In this case, we will shave your cat underneath and start shaving other parts down in the reserved 2 spots allocated time for $240. Then we will make another appointment to you for an additional 1 extra spot allocated time for $120 to finish shave your cat all over on another day. Most likely we will not have the extra time on the same day, as we work by appointments only and another customer allocated time starts right after your time.
Please note, we have no responsibility for customer's wrong decisions, nor for naughty people's cheeky decisions to try to save money on mat removals.
If you do not like our policy, we give you the permission to go somewhere else.

Mandatory nail cut, ear and eye cleaning.

Shortening the fur down to 10-16 mm on the top part of the body. Shave fur around bum and inside back legs. Bath. Common name is teddy bear clip with bath.

Groomzy has capacity to continue this service who became existing customer before 1st of March 2025. This is valid until further notice!
​
You request this package if you visit Groomzy at least every 12 weeks. Your cat fur is not matted, not knotted, not tangled. Fur is not compacted with thick coat left on body without combing it out. If the fur started to stick together, creating a cotton like fur, knotted, compacted thick fur, please book a Hot Mess Package or a Messy Belly Package accordingly. After that please come back in the recommended time for continue your Silver Package.
